!NOTE! : If it doesn't seem like the web game is listening to the keyboard refresh the page and click on the Unity symbol as it's loading. This is my first time using the Unity WebGL and it seems to have some issues living in itch.io's container.

Space. Where aliens and lasers and bombs abound one man needs only his lucky axe and a beefy arm... And that man flies the AxeShip!

Controls :

arrows / wasd to move

i, j, l to swing your axe

This was my first Ludum Dare and I had a lot of fun and just wanted to offer a big thanks to all the great developers who make amazing tools that allow shmucks like me to try and make games:

Hosting : http://itch.io/ - first on the list because it's first in importance. sites like this ( and ludumdare of course ^_^ ) give hopeful game developers somewhere to easily share their art and that importance can't be undersold.

Engine : Unity 5 - a lovely tool

Sounds : http://www.bfxr.net/ - i spend far to much simply listening to generated sounds..

Music :

autotracker.py - what an amazing script! this is the only reason i had music

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ - a staple

Sprites :

http://ludumdare.com/compo/2013/04/03/random-sprit... - like bfxr probably a little too much time spent just clicking and smiling at what i saw..

http://www.piskelapp.com/ - easy enough for even me to create some animations and that's saying something! and it's web based.

Text : http://textcraft.net/ - thanks to them i didn't have to use unity's ui widgets!
